Adam Buntaine, MD, FACC

Dr. Adam Buntaine grew up in Rochester, NY. He attended Duke University for his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Engineering. He then went on to complete medical school and a residency in Internal Medicine at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His passion for a deeper understanding of the field drew him to a Cardiology fellowship at New York University, and a return to UNC for additional training in Interventional Cardiology.

He is board-certified in Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, Echocardiography, Nuclear Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and holds a special certification in Vascular Ultrasound. His expertise includes Interventional Cardiology, Coronary Angioplasty/Stents, Peripheral Arterial Interventions, and Peripheral Venous interventions.

Dr. Buntaine is committed to providing the highest level of care to patients suffering from cardiovascular disease.

Adam is married and has two children. He enjoys reading, sports, and spending time with his family and dog.
