Professional Background
Abby Cobb, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, is a dual board-certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice and Adult-Gerontology Acute Care, dedicated to delivering comprehensive cardiovascular care across a variety of clinical settings. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Darton State College in Albany, Georgia, while gaining critical experience in the Emergency Center and Surgical Intensive Care Unit.
Abby went on to complete her Master of Science in Nursing at South University in Savannah in 2018 and has trained extensively in outpatient and inpatient care, including internal medicine, emergency medicine, nephrology, OB/GYN, and critical care at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. She began her cardiology career at Cardiology Associates at Phoebe Putney, where her passion for heart health led her to pursue and obtain a Post-Master’s Certification in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care from Brenau University.
In 2020, Abby joined the Heart and Vascular team, bringing with her a comprehensive background in both acute and chronic cardiac care. Originally from Gwinnett County, she is excited to return home to provide care to patients of Gwinnett and Forsyth County. Outside of work, Abby enjoys gardening, baking fresh bread, and spending time with her family.
