    Pavani Kolakalapudi, MD, FACC, is a non-invasive cardiologist with expertise in Prevention and Women’s Heart Health. With a compassionate and comprehensive approach to cardiovascular care, she strives to connect with each patient to ensure a personalized care experience to improve health outcomes.

    Her expertise is in cardiovascular disease with special interest in prevention, women’s heart health, lipid disorders, pregnancy-related heart disease, and cardio-oncology. She is board certificated in cardiovascular disease and internal medicine. Dr. Kolakalapudi is a well-known spokesperson for the American Heart Association, Go Red for Women Campaign in Northeast Georgia. She serves on the Cardiac work group for Georgia Perinatal quality collaborative which strives to improve maternal cardiac health outcomes in the state of Georgia.

    In previous roles, Dr. Kolakalapudi was the first female physician to serve as an executive board member for Cardiology, was a research mentor for Internal medicine residents interested in cardiology and spearheaded the telemedicine program at her organization.

    When she’s not caring for her patients, Dr. Kolakalapudi enjoys spending time cooking heart healthy versions of her family’s traditional Indian recipes and making memories with her husband and two boys.
