Professional Background
Lindsay Owens is a board-certified Physician Assistant in practice since 2006. She has lived in Georgia since 1990, growing up in Reynolds and Warner Robins. She received her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia in 2003. She then went on to complete her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at South University in Savannah, Georgia in 2006 graduating with honors. She has had an interest in cardiology since her years as a student, completing an internship in cardiac rehab, elective clinical rotations in cardiology, and working as at tech in the cardiovascular ICU in Macon, GA.
She began her career in Internal Medicine in Sugar Hill, GA where she focused on preventative medicine and the overall well-being of her patients. After practicing for 5 years, she transitioned into a role in Emergency Medicine in Johns Creek, GA where she managed numerous emergent medical and cardiology issues. In recent years, she has been working in observation medicine at EJCH where she cares for patients with both acute and chronic medical conditions.
Lindsay and her husband currently reside in Cumming, GA with their teenage twins and several adopted pets.
