Kimberly Wiley, FNP-C is originally from Lawrenceville, Georgia. Kimberly chose to become a nurse because she had open heart surgery as a child. She wanted to help others the way the nurses helped her when she needed it. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Georgia Southern University, in Statesboro, Georgia. She dedicated the first 14 years of her career as a registered nurse, treating patients at the cardiovascular intensive care unit. Skilled in assessing the health and conditions of her patients and developing appropriate treatment plans, Kimberly was then inspired to further her education and obtain her master’s degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from South University, in Savannah, Georgia.
Kimberly’s interests are in cardiology, and managing complex disease states such as diabetes, coronary artery disease, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia. She has dedicated her nursing career to treating all populations across their lifespan.
Kimberly is married and has five children. She enjoys travel, spending time with her family, reading, and singing. She is very excited to be part of Heart and Vascular Care and is proud to work with such a fantastic team of practitioners.
