Matthew Meleka, DO, FACC

Dr. Meleka received his medical degree at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine, in Stratford, New Jersey. He completed his internship and residency at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He then completed his Cardiology Fellowship at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey, followed by his Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Largo Medical Center in Largo, Florida.  

He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Echocardiology, Nuclear Medicine, Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology. Additionally, he is a registered physician in vascular studies. He is part of the Arnold P. Gold Humanism Honor Society and has received multiple Fellow of the Year Awards-along with leadership, research, and humanism awards. He has been published in multiple journals including the American Heart Association of Hypertension and the Journal of the American College of Cardiology. His expertise includes Interventional Cardiology, Coronary Angioplasty, Coronary Stents, and Peripheral Arterial Stents. 

Dr. Meleka is married. He enjoys playing tennis and traveling. He is also an avid chess player. Additionally, he enjoys serving in his church community and spending time with family.
