Kathleen Evans, DO

Dr. Kathleen Evans was raised in Clearwater, Florida. She attended and is a graduate of The University of Florida where she studied exercise and sports science. After completing her undergraduate degree, she was accepted into the inaugural class at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine’s, Bradenton Campus. Dr. Evans subsequently completed her residency and cardiology fellowship at Largo Medical Center in Largo, FL.

Dr. Evans has over ten years of experience in cardiology, with a special interest in the whole-body approach when treating her patients. She is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, nuclear medicine as well as integrative and holistic medicine. Dr. Evans is a member of the American College of Cardiology, the American Society of Echocardiology, and the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine. She takes great pride in utilizing her Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine to treat patients with an integrative approach, providing guideline-based cardiac recommendations as well as alternative treatments to her patients to provide the optimal care. Her passion is driven by the bonds that she builds with her patients over the course of their lives and the enjoyment she holds in keeping them healthy and well.

Dr. Evans comes to the Metro Atlanta area from Alabama, and is excited to join the providers at Heart and Vascular Care. She is married to a retired US Army veteran and together they share four beautiful children. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as camping, hiking, shooting, swimming, traveling with her family, being active in her church, being involved with her children, and helping others in need.
